Derma-Repair Scar/Stretch Mark treatment is targeted high intensity microneedling, developed specifically to stimulate significant collagen growth and aesthetic improvement of scars and stretch marks, new or old. A form of Collagen Induction Therapy, designed to only be used on the affected area/mark itself, due to the intensity of needling implemented. Unlike other needling treatments available, it is not suitable for general skin rejuvenation. In comparison to treatments such as laser it has significantly reduced post treatment issues such as potential hyperpigmentation.
Derma-Repair Rejuvenation treatment is for wrinkles, fine lines, general skin improvement and rejuvenation. This uses a combination of targeted high intensity and standard intensity microneedling therapy to improve the collagen and consequently the quality of the area. The high intensity needling gives best results for fine lines, wrinkles and scaring, with the standard intensity needling targeting general skin condition. A clients specific requirements will be determined as part of designing the treatment plan. Treatment is tailored as needed for general anti-aging or skin quality improvements on the face or body.
Both treatment protocols include pre-treatment skin preparation low intensity chemical peel, a microneedling process and the inclusion of specifically designed solutions of vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic acid into the skin to optimise the healing process and results. We also provide aftercare products to optimize results.
Derma-Repair treatment protocols work to cause micro-injuries to scar, stretchmark and general skin tissue. This results in stimulating a natural healing response, creating new collegan which matures over time. Treatment also stimulates the production of melanin in scars or stretch marks resulting in an appearance closer in colour and texture to the surrounding healthy skin as treatments progress. In normal skin rejuvenation, treatment improves pigmentation and provides more even skin tone.
Skin imperfections renew from within, slowly filling, tightening and changing colour in the process so that they blend in with surrounding skin, making them less noticeable both visibly and to the touch. Treatments vary in depth and intensity depending on the area of the body to be treated along with the individual requirements of the area.
The following are a list of skin concerns that we treat. All treatments would only take place following a thorough initial consultation to examine the areas of concern and discuss a treatment plan along with the expected outcomes. There are some types of concerns that are not appropriate for treatment. This would be discussed during consultation and in these cases no treatment could be offered.
